Regular Season Round 10: Bordeaux - Antibes 98-89

ProB round 10 caused change at the leadership position. Third defeat of league's leader Olympique Antibes (7-3) against eighteenth ranked Bordeaux (2-8) 98-89 was the most important game of the last round. Olympique Antibes trailed by 13 points after 3 quarters before a 25-21 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 89-98 at the end of the game. Bordeaux shot 60.3 percent from the field. They shot the lights out from three sinking 12 long-distance shots on high 54.5 percentage. Worth to mention a great performance of American power forward Thomas Coleman (205-88, college: N.Carolina A&T) who helped to win the game recording 22 points and 8 rebounds (on 11-of-14 shooting from the field). Guard Matthieu Guichard (188-88) contributed with 21 points for the winners. Bordeaux's coach Jean-Marc Dupraz used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American forward Tim Blue (205-84, college: Middle Tenn.St.) replied with 30 points and 5 rebounds (made all of his nine free throws !!!) and his fellow American import swingman Anthony Hilliard (193-86, college: Elizabeth City) added 21 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Olympique Antibes. Five Bordeaux and four Olympique Antibes players scored in double figures. Bordeaux maintains eighteenth position with 2-8 record. Olympique Antibes at the other side dropped to the third place with three games lost. They share the position with Le Portel. They were replaced at the leadership position by Evreux. Olympique Antibes will play next round against Hyeres-Toulon trying to make it back to the top of the standings. Bordeaux will try to continue on its current victory against first ranked ALM Evreux on the road.
