Regular Season Round 12: USK Praha - BK Prostejov 75-86

There was a minor upset when one of their biggest challengers USK Praha (6-5) was defeated at home by seventh ranked BK Prostejov (6-5) 86-75. It looked good early as USK Praha took an 9-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then BK Prostejov took control winning next two quarters and eventually winning the game that evening by 11 points. USK Praha was plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch. The winners were led by swingman Jaromir Bohacik (197-92) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 18 points, 11 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals and forward Ondrej Kohout (204-91) supported him with 15 points and 7 rebounds. Even a double-double of 21 points and 18 rebounds by Congolese-French forward Boris Meno (203-83, college: Davidson, agency: Two Points) did not help to save the game for USK Praha. The former international center Stanislav Votroubek (212-81) added 14 points and 5 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. USK Praha's coach Ken Scalabroni rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. BK Prostejov moved-up to sixth place, which they share with defeated USK Praha. BK Prostejov will play against bottom-ranked BK Lions Hradec (#13) in J.Hradec in the next round and are hoping to win another game. USK Praha will play on the road against Levharti Chomutov (#10) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
