Regular Season Round 4: ABA Strumica - Lirija 68-73

Undefeated ABA Strumica (3-1) recorded its first loss at the home court. Hosts were defeated by sixth ranked Lirija (2-2) 73-68. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of ABA Strumica. The guests were ahead by 8 points but lost the second period ending it with a 1-point deficit before their 22-16 run, which allowed them to win the game. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international forward Dime Tasovski (200-80) who helped to win the game recording 15 points and 7 rebounds and Montenegrin power forward Balsa Radunovic (207-80, agency: Interperformances) who added 13 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. Four Lirija players scored in double figures. At the losing side guard Eftim Bogoev (185-80) responded with 23 points and 4 assists and Aleksandar Jevdic scored 18 points and 5 rebounds. ABA Strumica's coach Zlatko Zetov rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Lirija moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Rabotnicki and Kozuv. ABA Strumica at the other side still keeps top position with one game lost. They share it with Feni Indistrija and Kumanovo. Lirija's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Skopje Vardar.
