Regular Season Round 9: Summerside S. - Windsor Exp. 84-96

Newly acquired point guard Darren Duncan led the Windsor Express with 23 points and seven assists in a 96-84 victory over the Summerside Storm in NBL of Canada action Friday night in Summerside, P.E.I. Duncan found his touch at the three-point line, where he was 3-of-4 for the Express, who snapped a three-game losing streak. Mike Helms added 17 points, while Raymond Kraemer chipped in with 16 points and three rebounds. Former Lancer Greg Surmacz was 5-for-12 from field goal range and netted 12 points with eight rebounds and five assists. Forward Kevin Loiselle recorded a double-double with 10 points and 12 rebounds. The Express are off until next weekend when they take on the Storm again on the road. The professional basketball team is also giving youth programs in Windsor and Essex County the chance to play on the main court at the WFCU Centre prior to every Express home game starting in the new year.
