Regular Season Round 11: Tln Kalev - Tarvas 85-95

The most interesting game of round 11 was a derby match between two teams from Estonia. The game took place in Tallinn where second ranked BC Rakvere won against host Tln Kalev (1-7) 95-85. The game was mostly controlled by BC Rakvere. Tln Kalev managed to win second period 22-20. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 22-of-28 free shots (78.6 percent) during the game. It was a great shooting night for BC Rakvere especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.9 percentage. American-Italian guard Marc Campbell (180-86, college: N.Carolina) answered with 27 points and forward Janis Vahter (193-86) added 19 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Tln Kalev. BC Rakvere have a solid series of four victories in a row. They maintain second place with 5-3 record having just three points less than leader Pieno Zvaigzdes. Tln Kalev lost third consecutive game. They keep the sixth position with seven games lost. They share it with Valga. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
