Not a big story in a game when 11th ranked BK Usti nad Labem (3-10) was rolled over on the road by fifth ranked BK Pardubice (7-6) 92-68. The game without a history. BK Pardubice led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. BK Pardubice outrebounded BK Usti nad Labem 42-25 including a 27-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. Lithuanian point guard Evaldas Zabas (188-88) notched 18 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals to lead the effort and the former international power forward Zbynek Pospisil (206-81) supported him with 9 points and 9 rebounds. Four BK Pardubice players scored in double figures. Even 17 points and 5 rebounds by American forward Brad Reese (199-88, college: Texas Tech) did not help to save the game for BK Usti nad Labem. The former international forward Stefan Licartovsky (196-84) added 18 points for the guests. Despite that victory BK Pardubice went down to sixth position due to points difference. BK Usti nad Labem at the other side dropped to the twelfth place with ten games lost. BK Pardubice will play against higher ranked BK Decin (#5) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. BK Usti nad Labem will play against BK Prostejov (#3) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
