The game in Athens was also quite interesting. 7th ranked Kronos AD (3-6) played at the court of eighth ranked Asteras (4-5). Asteras managed to secure a 7-point victory 65-58 on Saturday. The hosts trailed by 2 points at the halftime before their 37-28 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. It was a good game for forward Sotiria Marinou (173) who led her team to a victory with 17 points. Center Katerina Glyniadaki (196-86, college: Cal-Riverside) contributed with 11 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. American guard Jasmine Smith (172, college: St.Mary's, CA) answered with 18 points and the former international power forward Nena Nikolaidou (190-79) added 12 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Kronos AD.
