The game in Tallinn was also worth to mention about. Third ranked Kazakhstan Barsy Atyrau (4-3) played at the court of 5th ranked Estonian TTU (1-7). Barsy Atyrau managed to secure a 8-point victory 81-73. The guests started the game with a very strong first quarter 25-15. But TTU won third quarter 24-22. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. 25 personal fouls committed by TTU helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a good game for Lithuanian forward Edgaras Zelionis (207-89) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 11 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists. Ukrainian center Vadim Matyukevych (208-80) contributed with 17 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Four Barsy Atyrau players scored in double figures. Barsy Atyrau's coach Eduard Skripec allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Forward Kiur Akenparg (190-88) replied with 26 points and forward Mooses Kaja (198-88) added 18 points in the effort for TTU. Defending Kazakhstan champion maintains third position with 4-3 record having five points less than leader Pieno Zvaigzdes. TTU lost seventh consecutive game. They keep the fifth place with seven games lost. Barsy Atyrau's next round opponent will be league's leader Ventspils on the road and it will be for sure the game of the week. TTU will play against the league's second-placed Siauliai (#2).
