There was a minor upset when higher ranked JSF Nanterre (4-6) lost on the road to fifteenth ranked Entente Orleans 45 (4-6) 83-79 on Saturday. The hosts trailed by 3 points at the halftime before their 24-14 charge in the third quarter, which allowed them to win the game. Entente Orleans 45 dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to JSF Nanterre's 22 and made 19-of-25 free shots (76.0 percent) during the game. Quite impressive performance for the former international point guard Marc-Antoine Pellin (169-87) who helped to win the game recording 18 points and 5 assists (perfect from the field making all seven shots !!!). American guard Jahmar Young (196-86, college: N.Mexico St., agency: Higher Vision Sports) contributed with 16 points for the winners. Four Entente Orleans 45 players scored in double figures. American guard Trenton Meacham (188-85, college: Illinois) replied with 23 points and his fellow American import point guard Chris Warren (178-88, college: Mississippi) added 18 points and 5 assists in the effort for JSF Nanterre. JSF Nanterre's coach tested ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Entente Orleans 45 moved-up to ninth place, which they share with 7 other teams including defeated JSF Nanterre. JSF Nanterre lost third consecutive game. Entente Orleans 45 will face higher ranked Poitiers (#7) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game.
