Very predictable result in Dnepropetrovsk where third ranked Budivelnyk (14-5) defeated bottom-ranked Dnipro (4-14) 71-66 on Sunday. The guests were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. The best player for the winners was American forward Leo Lyons (206-87, college: Missouri, agency: Edge Sports) who scored 15 points and 8 rebounds. His fellow American import guard Malcolm Delaney (191-89, college: Virginia Tech) chipped in 17 points and 4 steals. Budivelnyk's coach Ainars Bagatskis used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. At the other side the best for losing team was American point guard Derrick Low (188-86, college: Washington St.) who recorded 13 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists and international power forward Maxym Korniyenko (204-87) added 12 points, 8 rebounds and 4 blocks respectively. Four Dnipro players scored in double figures. Budivelnyk moved-up to second place. Dnipro lost fifth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom position with 14 games lost. They share it with BC Kyiv.
