Brose Baskets survived overtime thriller against Partizan to clinch the final Top 16 ticket from Group D. Bostjan Nachbar finished with 23 points to pace the German side. It was do-or-die battle for both teams as the winner gained Top 16 qualification. Bamberg rallied off to an 8:2 start to the game. They dominated in the opening quarter to take a 25:13 lead. Brose Baskets kept Partizan at bay throughout the second term. The hosts accumulated a 47:35 halftime advantage. Drew Gordon pulled the Serbian team within 4 points in the third term 59:63. However Brose Baskets slowed the visitors down and posted a 68:62 lead into the fourth stanza. The stakes grew higher with every passing second in the fourth quarter. Partizan erased the deficit and knotted things up at 77. Vladimir Lucic put the visitors in front 78:77. Jacobsen answered with a free throw and Sharrod Ford tipped the ball in for an 80:78 Bamberg lead. Milosavljevic got fouled and missed the first free throw. He then missed the second one on purpose just for Drew Gordon to pull down an offensive rebound and dunk the ball forcing overtime. Partizan jumped to an 89:88 lead midway through the extra period. However Sharrod Ford and Goldsberry put the hosts in charge 92:89. Misolavljevic sank just one free throw and almost repeated the trick of the regulation but could not convert after his own offensive rebound. Anton Gavel finished with 16 points, while Sharrod Ford added 12 points in the victory. Vladimir Lucic answered with 19 points for Partizan. Leo Westermann chipped in 16 points in the losing effort.
