Not a big story in a game in Spanga where 11th ranked Jarva Devils (1-11) were rolled over by second ranked Akropol (9-3) 91-69 on Friday. The game without a history. Akropol led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. It was a great shooting night for Akropol especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 60.0 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by Jarva Devils' players. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Richard Hartmann (201-89) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 29 points and 11 rebounds (on 11-of-14 shooting from the field) and American guard Corrie Sutherlin (183-81) who added 19 points during the contest. The best for the losing side was guard Omid Behboudi (191-86) with 15 points and center Sermed Hasan (208-91) scored 5 points and 14 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Akropol have an impressive five-game winning streak. Despite that victory Akropol went down to third position (North) due to points difference. Jarva Devils lost seventh consecutive game. They dropped to the twelfth place with 11 games lost. Akropol will face league's second-placed Taby Basket at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Jarva Devils will play against KFUM Uppsala (#10) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
