Everything went according to plan in Ankara where third ranked Darussafaka (11-3) outscored 17th ranked Pi Koleji (3-11) 83-63. The game without a history. Darussafaka led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Serbian center Aleksandar Petrovic (204-87) orchestrated the victory by scoring 20 points and 5 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Center Cihan Mumcuogullari (207-83, college: Concordia, MI) contributed with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Four Darussafaka players scored in double figures. Darussafaka's coach used entire bench and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Croatian power forward Nenad Delic (210-84) replied with 20 points and 6 rebounds and guard Berkay Sahillioglu (183-88) added 10 points and 8 assists in the effort for Pi Koleji. Darussafaka moved-up to second place, which they share with Usak and Maliye Milli. Pi Koleji lost ninth consecutive game. They dropped to the sixteenth position with 11 games lost. Darussafaka's next round opponent will be Balikesir (#12) at home and are hoping to win another game.
