Very expected game when 16th ranked Silute (6-16) was defeated at home by seventh ranked Triobet (14-8) 94-88 on Saturday. The guests started the game with a very strong first quarter 28-18. But Silute won third quarter 25-20. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Triobet dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Silute's 26 and made 16-of-20 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. Triobet looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Guard Tadas Sebeziovas (183-85) fired a double-double by scoring 22 points, 8 rebounds and 12 assists for the winners. Forward Henrikas Vorotnikovas (203-90) chipped in 21 points (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). Four Triobet players scored in double figures. Swingman Marius Kasiulevicius (198-82, college: Trinity Valley JC) produced a double-double by scoring 31 points and 13 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and American point guard Dustin Heiman (180-86, college: Abil.Christian) added 16 points and 7 assists respectively for lost side. Triobet have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Zanavykas and Statyba. Loser Silute keeps the sixteenth position with 16 games lost. Triobet will face league's leader Dzukija in Alytus in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Silute will play on the road against Perlas-MRU (#11) in Vilnius.
