Regular Season Round 22: Olimpas - Delikatesas 86-69

No shocking result in a game in Plunge where fourth ranked Olimpas (15-7) defeated 12th ranked Delikatesas (9-13) 86-69 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Olimpas. Delikatesas was better in fourth quarter 19-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Olimpas looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Forward Audrius Maneikis (203-84, college: Motlow St. CC) fired 26 points (on 11-of-14 shooting from the field) for the winners. Guard Tomas Domarkas (182-91) chipped in 15 points and 5 assists. Olimpas' coach Alidas Zukauskas used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Swingman Mantas Pukinskas (198-89) produced 15 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and swingman Deividas Girdvila (196-90, agency: Dynamics Global Management) added 17 points respectively for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Olimpas moved-up to third place, which they share with Suduva-Mantinga. Delikatesas lost third consecutive game. They keep the twelfth position with 13 games lost. Olimpas will face Ezerunas-Karys (#14) in Moletai in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Delikatesas will play at home against Statyba in Vilnius.
