The game with biggest result difference took place in Beijing. Local Beijing Great Wall (9-8) beat 9th ranked Bayi Kylin (6-11) 80-62 on Saturday night. The game without a history. Beijing Great Wall led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Bayi Kylin's 30. Beijing Great Wall forced 19 Bayi Kylin turnovers and outrebounded them 35-22 including 25 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was American forward Sophia Young (186-83, college: Baylor) who had a double-double by scoring 25 points and 10 rebounds. Power forward XiaoYu Sun (190-84) chipped in 14 points and 8 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). Four Beijing Great Wall players scored in double figures. International center Nan Chen (197-83) produced 14 points and 8 rebounds and international forward Lu Wen (188-90) added 15 points and 5 rebounds respectively for the guests. Beijing Great Wall maintains sixth place with 9-8 record, which they share with Shanghai. Loser Bayi Kylin keeps the ninth position with 11 games lost. Beijing Great Wall will face higher ranked Jiangsu Phoenix (#4) in Yixing in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Bayi Kylin will play on the road against Guangdong Dolphins (#10) in Guangzhou and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
