Everything went according to plan when fourth ranked ratiopharm Ulm (10-5) beat at home 7th ranked TBB Trier (8-7) 73-58. The game was mostly controlled by ratiopharm Ulm. TBB Trier was better in third quarter 17-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening.
