Regular Season Round 21: Sioux Falls S. - Maine RC 101-87

The Maine Red Claws entered Saturday night's game in Sioux Falls with an impressive 6-1 road record, which included a win Friday night at the Sioux Falls Arena against the Skyforce. But on Saturday, the Skyforce never trailed and dropped the Red Claws to 9-5 on the season with a 101-87 victory – still tops in the D League's Eastern Division. DaJuan Summers led the Red Claws with a double-double by registering 22 points and 10 rebounds. Fab Melo also finished with a double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds. Melo started the game on fire by scoring 10 points and grabbing 6 rebounds in the first half, but was held in check in the second half. Despite trailing by as many as 21 in the third quarter, the Red Claws made it interesting in the fourth quarter when they put together a 9-2 run to pull within 12 points at 91-79. The Skyforce opened an 11-2 lead early in the first quarter, and despite the Red Claws cutting to lead to 16-15 later in the quarter, they were never able to take the lead from Sioux Falls.
