The game in Stockholm was also quite interesting. Third ranked Uppsala Basket (14-5) played at the court of 7th ranked 08 Stockholm (9-9). Uppsala Basket defeated 08 Stockholm 96-86 on Saturday. 08 Stockholm was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. Uppsala Basket shot 62.1 percent from the field. It was a great evening for American point guard Thomas Jackson (175-80, college: Butler) who led his team to a victory scoring 18 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists (perfect from the field making all eight shots !!!). His fellow American import forward Keith Wright (203-89, college: Harvard) helped adding 16 points (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). At the losing side American forward Kodi Augustus (203-87, college: Mississippi St., agency: Two Points) responded with 19 points and the former international guard Rudy Mbemba (184-87) scored 11 points and 5 assists. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Uppsala Basket moved-up to second place, which they share with Boras. Loser 08 Stockholm keeps the seventh position with nine games lost. Uppsala Basket will meet Norrkoping Dolphins (#6) in the next round. 08 Stockholm will play against Eco Orebro and hope to secure a win.
