Tenth-ranked Hapoel Holon (3-8) gave a tough game to fourth ranked GreenTops Netanya (7-4) on Sunday. GreenTops Netanya managed to secure only two-point victory 72-70. However their fans expected much easier game. Hapoel Holon was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. Forward Frank Hassell (203-88, college: ODU) responded with a double-double by scoring 15 points, 13 rebounds and 4 blocks and forward Tyler Smith (201-86, college: Tennessee) scored 12 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Four GreenTops Netanya and five Hapoel Holon players scored in double figures. GreenTops Netanya moved-up to third place, which they share with Hapoel Eilat. Hapoel Holon lost their seventh game in a row. They keep the tenth position with eight games lost. GreenTops Netanya will face bottom-ranked Maccabi Ashdod (#12) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Hapoel Holon will play against the league's second-placed Maccabi Haifa.
