Very expected game when 6th ranked Galil Elion (4-6) was defeated on the road by second ranked Elitzur Ramla (7-3) 69-58 on Thursday. Elitzur Ramla looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was the former international Katia Levitsky (190-85, college: Villanova, agency: Data Plus Group) who had a double-double by scoring 17 points and 12 rebounds. American swingman Tamara James (178-84, college: Miami, FL) chipped in 17 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. American forward Christine Flores (190-90, college: Missouri, agency: Ronsport) produced a double-double by scoring 13 points and 14 rebounds and the other American import point guard Sydney Carter (167-90, college: Texas A&M, agency: Ronsport) added 12 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists respectively for the guests. Elitzur Ramla maintains second place with 7-3 record having just three points less than leader Maccabi Ashdod. Galil Elion lost their fifth game in a row.
