ZBL top team - USK Praha (16-1) had no problems winning another game on Sunday. This time they crushed eleventh ranked DSK Karlin (3-14) 101-62. The game without a history. USK Praha led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 70 of its points in the paint compared to DSK Karlin's 36 and made 19-of-24 free shots (79.2 percent) during the game. USK Praha forced 21 DSK Karlin turnovers and outrebounded them 43-25 including a 32-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists comparing to just 6 passes made by DSK Karlin's players. The best player for the winners was American center Kia Vaughn (193-87, college: Rutgers) who had a double-double by scoring 20 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. International center Ilona Burgrova (194-84, college: S.Carolina) chipped in 17 points. Four USK Praha players scored in double figures. Ivana Helceletova (188-79) produced 14 points and 5 rebounds and the former international guard Veronika Bortelova (172-78) added 16 points and 5 steals respectively for the hosts. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Defending champion maintains first place with 16-1 record. DSK Karlin lost third consecutive game. They keep the eleventh position with 14 games lost.
