Regular Season Round 15: Albacomp - Szedeak 93-84

A Division top team - Albacomp (13-3) managed to deliver another win on Sunday. This time they beat eleventh ranked Szedeak (5-10) in Szekesfehervar 93-84. Szedeak trailed by 12 points after 3 quarters before a 25-22 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 84-93 at the end of the game. It was a great shooting night for Albacomp especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 55.6 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The best player for the winners was naturalized American forward Damian Hollis (203-88, college: G.Washington, agency: Two Points) who scored 20 points and 5 assists. American point guard Ronald Moore (183-88, college: Siena) chipped in 9 points and 10 assists. Albacomp's coach Branislav Dzunic used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the other side the best for losing team was Serbian power forward Nebojsa Dukic (206-85) who recorded 25 points and 6 rebounds and American guard Anthony Gurley (190-88, college: Massachusetts) added 24 points and 6 rebounds respectively. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Albacomp maintains first place with 13-3 record. Loser Szedeak keeps the eleventh position with ten games lost. Albacomp will meet Kormend (#10) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Szedeak will play against Jaszberenyi and hope to secure a win.
