Regular Season Round 36: Mykolaiv - Azovmash 79-75

Very important is a road loss of third ranked Azovmash (17-8) against eighth ranked Mykolaiv (12-13) on Friday night. Visiting Azovmash was defeated by Mykolaiv in a tough game in Mykolaiv 75-79. Americans were the main players on the court. The winners were led by guard Josh Mayo (182-87, college: Ill.-Chicago, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) who scored that evening 34 points (!!!) and guard Anthony Shavies (191-83, college: Missouri St., agency: Interperformances) supported him with 10 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. Even 28 points and 5 assists by point guard Lynn Greer (186-79, college: Temple) did not help to save the game for Azovmash. Guard Manny Harris (196-89, college: Michigan) added 12 points and 11 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Mykolaiv maintains eighth position with 12-13 record. Azovmash lost third consecutive game. They keep the third place with eight games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
