The game between third ranked Yokohama BC (17-8) and tenth ranked Gunma (5-20) was the most important one in the last round on Saturday night. Yokohama BC was edged by Gunma in a tough game in Yokohama 74-77. The guests trailed by 13 points after first quarter, but they rallied back and won the game by 3 points. It was a good game for American forward Dominique Keller (203-88, college: Illinois) who led his team to a victory with 16 points and 9 rebounds. His fellow American import guard Jermaine Dixon (191-87, college: Pittsburgh) contributed with 17 points and 5 assists for the winners. Yokohama BC's coach Reggie Geary rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Newly promoted Gunma maintains tenth place with 5-20 record. Yokohama BC at the other side keeps the third position with eight games lost. Gunma will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Yokohama BC will play at home against Akita Happinets and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
