The Austin Toros got a on a much-needed win streak and defeated Central Division leader Texas Legends 99-92 Saturday night. The Toros (10-9) have won their last three games. The Toros led by 11 points at halftime and kept the Legends at bay in the second half, holding Texas to 35 percent shooting for the game. The Toros shot 53 percent as a team and led the Legends in both assists and rebounds. The Toros were led by former Longhorn Corey Joseph, who scored 30 points and shot 73 percent from the field. Tyler Wilkerson added 15 points and 12 rebounds to the Toros effort. Legends guard Chris Roberts had 26 points in the loss. The Toros are now third in the Central Division and trail Texas (11-7) by 1 games. The two teams meet today at the Cedar Park center for a 5 p.m. tip-off. Courtesy of: statesman.com
