Not a big story in a game in Dnepropetrovsk where 12th ranked Dnipro (8-16) was defeated by ninth ranked Cherkasy (12-12) 90-79. The game without a history. Cherkasy led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 25-of-30 charity shots (83.3 percent) during the game. Dnipro was plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch. Lithuanian guard Tomas Delininkaitis (190-82) nailed 23 points, 7 assists and 4 steals (made all of his eleven free throws !!!) for the winning side and American forward Vincent Hunter (208-84, college: Arkansas) accounted for 20 points and 10 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Cherkasy moved-up to eighth place. Dnipro at the other side keeps the twelfth position with 16 games lost. Cherkasy will play against Mykolaiv (#9) in Mykolaiv in the next round. Dnipro will play on the road against BC Odessa and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
