There was no surprise when 7th ranked Sao Jose/Vinac (9-6) lost to leader Flamengo (13-0) in Rio de Janeiro 75-83 on Monday. Sao Jose/Vinac was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. Flamengo made 21-of-24 free shots (87.5 percent) during the game.
