No shocking result in a game when eighth ranked Blois (9-7) defeated on the road 13th ranked Vendee Challans (5-11) 70-64 on Saturday. Vendee Challans was trailing by 6 points at halftime but managed to get 5-point lead after three quarters before a 21-10 charge of Blois, which allowed them to win the game. American forward Daviin Davis (193-85, college: Weber St.) scored 21 points and 6 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) to lead the charge for the winners and naturalized Ivorian swingman Wilfrid Aka (192-79) chipped in 16 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. Four Blois players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was forward Fabien Herard (198-79) with 20 points and 8 rebounds and point guard Samir Mekdad (188-86) scored 14 points and 8 rebounds.
