Leader Slask Wroclaw delivered the nineteenth victory. This time they crushed 10th ranked WIKANA Start (9-11) 97-67. The game without a history. Slask Wroclaw led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They shot 60.7 percent from the field. Slask Wroclaw shot the lights out from three nailing 12 long-distance shots on high 54.5 percentage. Point guard Marcin Flieger (182-84, agency: Promotex) orchestrated the victory by scoring 17 points and 6 assists. The former international forward Radoslaw Hyzy (203-77) contributed with 20 points (perfect from the field making all eight shots !!!) for the winners. Four Slask Wroclaw players scored in double figures. Swingman Tomasz Celej (198-78, agency: Promotex) replied with 18 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and forward Przemyslaw Luszczewski (195-80, agency: Promotex) added 15 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for WIKANA Start. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Slask Wroclaw (19-1) have an impressive 19-game winning streak. They maintain first position. WIKANA Start at the other side keeps the tenth place with 11 games lost. They share the position with Spojnia. Slask Wroclaw will play against SKK Siedlce (#14) on the road in the next round which should be another easy win for them. WIKANA Start will play against Stal Ostrow (#6) in Ostrow Wlkp. and hopes to get back on the winning track.
