Not a big story in a game when 10th ranked Dresden (6-10) lost at home to third ranked Weissenhorn Youngstars (10-6) 90-81 on Sunday. Weissenhorn Youngstars dominated down low during the game scoring 70 of its points in the paint compared to Dresden's 48. It was a very good performance for British forward Myles Hesson (195-90, agency: Two Points) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 34 points (!!!) and 19 rebounds. point guard Till-Joscha Joenke (190-92) contributed with 21 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists for the winners. Power forward Alexander Heide (205-91) replied with 14 points and 8 rebounds and American guard Jason Boucher (180-80, college: Grand Valley St.) added 16 points and 5 assists in the effort for Dresden. Four Dresden players scored in double figures. Dresden's coach Thomas Krzywinski rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Weissenhorn Youngstars moved-up to second place in Group South, which they share with Noerdlingen. Dresden lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the tenth position with ten games lost. Weissenhorn Youngstars will face Hanau (#9) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Dresden will play against the league's leader Dragons Rhoendorf.
