Rather predictable result in Sorocabana where twelfth ranked Liga Sorocaba (9-9) defeated 14th ranked Mogi (6-12) 81-74 on Thursday. Mogi trailed by 11 points at halftime and as many as 12 after three quarters before a 22-17 last quarter charge cut the deficit to 74-81 at the end of the game. Liga Sorocaba made 18-of-22 free shots (81.8 percent) during the game. Liga Sorocaba outrebounded Mogi 26-15. It was a great evening for American guard Desmond Holloway (190-88, college: Co.Carolina) who led his team to a victory scoring 22 points.
