Lanus clinched the second consecutive victory at the Liga Americas tournament. They knocked down Estrellas Orientales to stay on top of Group A ladder at 2-0 record. Seven Lanus players scored in double digits en route to the victory. Nicolas Laprovittola paced the winners with 16 points. Lanus fired 26 points in the first frame to take a 5-point lead. They maintained the advantage throughout the second quarter. Lanus ensured a 48:41 halftime lead. Lanus stayed red-hot offensively in the second half. They dropped 29 points in the third term to gain a 12-point advantage. The Argentinean team went on a 30:10 rally in the fourth period and sealed the winning outcome at the end. Carlos Schattmann nailed 14 points, while Lucas Perez, Robert Battle and Adrian Boccia provided 12 points apiece for the winning team. Tayron Thomas answered with 22 points for Estrellas. Jose Juan Bravo had 13 points in defeat.
