Rather predictable result when seventh ranked MKS Skierniew. (6-7) defeated on the road 10th ranked Suchy Las (2-11) 74-63 on Saturday. The guests trailed by 10 points after first quarter, but they stormed back winning two of next three quarters and won the game by 11 points. MKS Skierniew. looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of swingman Mariusz Lapinski (194-82) who helped to win the game recording 19 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists and forward Radoslaw Jarosz (196-83) who added 7 points and 10 assists during the contest. At the losing side point guard Piotr Wieloch (180-94) responded with 10 points and 7 assists and guard Pawel Mowlik (182-89) scored 16 points and 4 steals. Suchy Las' coach let to play ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. MKS Skierniew. moved-up to sixth place in Group A. Suchy Las lost fourth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keep the tenth position with 11 games lost. MKS Skierniew. will face league's leader Wilki Morskie in Szczecin in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Suchy Las will play on the road against Notec (#9) in Inowroclaw and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
