Halcones Rojos clinched the opening win in the semifinal series versus Toros. Toros were ahead by 3 points at the halftime before a 31-22 second half run of Halcones Rojos. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Curtis Stinson (191-83, college: Iowa St.) who helped to win the game recording 17 points and 5 assists. The former international guard Francisco Cruz (190-89, college: Wyoming) contributed with 17 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Halcones Rojos' coach Eddie Casiano allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. American-Nigerian forward Ike Ofoegbu (205-85, college: SMU) answered with 27 points and 8 rebounds and American swingman Rene Rougeau (198-86, college: UNLV, agency: ProSportsCareers) added 20 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Toros.
