There was a minor upset when 12th ranked Angers BC 49 (6-12) was defeated on the road by fourteenth ranked Vendee Challans (6-12) 79-65 on Tuesday. The hosts trailed by 2 points at the halftime before their 39-23 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Vendee Challans made 16-of-18 free shots (88.9 percent) during the game. Vendee Challans outrebounded Angers BC 49 38-23 including 26 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was point guard Samir Mekdad (188-86) who had a double-double by scoring 12 points and 11 rebounds.
