Not a big story in a game when 12th ranked TSV Troester (3-15) was defeated on the road by fourth ranked Noerdlingen (11-7) 92-76 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Noerdlingen. TSV Troester was better in second period 26-25. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Noerdlingen looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. TSV Troester was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was American forward Chad Gray (200-85, college: Co.Carolina) who scored 27 points and 9 rebounds. The other American import guard Brandon Hogg (186-89, college: S.Indiana) chipped in 26 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Gray is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Noerdlingen's coach Mario Matic used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. At the other side the best for losing team was Johannes Richter (206-93) who recorded 13 points and 8 rebounds and forward Manuel Rockmann (188-91) added 13 points respectively. Noerdlingen moved-up to third place in Group South. TSV Troester lost third consecutive game. They keep the twelfth position with 15 games lost. Noerdlingen will face league's second-placed Weissenhorn Youngstars on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. TSV Troester will play against Licher Baeren (#5).
