Semi-Finals Game 5: Toros - Halc.Rojos 76-56

Date: February 11, 2013
Toros avoided elimination cruising past Halcones Rojos in the fifth game of the series. Toros are now 2-3 down in the best-of-seven series. The game was mostly controlled by Toros. Halcones Rojos managed to win fourth quarter 16-13. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 17-of-20 free shots (85.0 percent) during the game. It was a great shooting night for Toros especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.4 percentage. The best player for the winners was American swingman Rene Rougeau (198-86, college: UNLV, agency: ProSportsCareers) who scored 15 points (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). His fellow American import forward Adrian Henning (203-82, college: Austin Peay St.) chipped in 12 points. American forward Marco Ramos (198-87, college: Grand Canyon) produced 12 points and 5 rebounds and American-Panamanian guard Danilo Pinnock (196-83, college: G.Washington) added 10 points and 6 rebounds respectively for the guests. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
