Very expected game in Jonava where 12th ranked Delikatesas (12-19) was defeated by fifth ranked Triobet (20-11) 78-74 on Friday. However just four-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Delikatesas trailed by 11 points after 3 quarters before a 22-15 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 74-78 at the end of the game. Delikatesas was plagued by 31 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a great evening for forward Martynas Linkevicius (197-85) who led his team to a victory scoring 25 points and 8 rebounds. Guard Tadas Sebeziovas (183-85) helped adding 13 points. Triobet's coach Kestutis Narusevicius used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. The victory was the third consecutive win for Triobet. They maintain fifth place with 20-11 record. Loser Delikatesas dropped to the thirteenth position with 19 games lost. Triobet will face higher ranked Suduva-Mantinga (#4) in Marijampole in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Delikatesas will play at home against the league's leader Mazeikiai (#1).
