The game with biggest result difference took place in Quakenbrueck. Local Artland Dragons (13-10) outscored 18th ranked LTi 46ers (4-18) 107-65 on Saturday night. The game without a history. Artland Dragons led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Artland Dragons outrebounded LTi 46ers 39-20 including a 18-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. They shot the lights out from three sinking 16 long-distance shots on high 57.1 percentage. Artland Dragons looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was American forward Bradley Buckman (203-84, college: Texas) who scored 19 points and 5 rebounds. His fellow American import Bryce Taylor (196-86) chipped in 14 points. Artland Dragons' coach Stefan Koch felt very confident that he used entire bench and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Bosnian power forward Elvir Ovcina (212-76, college: Syracuse, agency: Interperformances) produced 16 points and American-British power forward Randall Hanke (211-84, college: Providence) added 14 points and 6 rebounds respectively for the guests. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Artland Dragons maintains sixth place with 13-10 record. LTi 46ers lost their eighth game in a row. They stay at the bottom position with 18 games lost. Artland Dragons will face New Yorker Phantoms (#15) in Braunschweig in the next round and are hoping to win another game. LTi 46ers will play at home against TBB Trier.
