Very predictable result when eighth ranked MLP Academics Heidelberg (11-11) smashed at home 14th ranked Oettinger Rockets Gotha (8-14) 84-61 on Sunday. American forward Devin White (203-88, college: SUNO) scored 21 points and 7 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and center Kristian Kuhn (208-87, college: N.Arizona) chipped in 12 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. Coach Tony Garbelotto's team controlled all game and the coach could let to play 11 players and allowed the starting five to rest. At the losing side American forward Torvoris Baker (203-83, college: Detroit Mercy) responded with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 16 rebounds and forward Leo Niebuhr (208-86) scored 12 points and 4 assists. Four Oettinger Rockets Gotha players scored in double figures. MLP Academics Heidelberg moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Chemnitz. Newly promoted Oettinger Rockets Gotha keeps the fourteenth position with 14 games lost. MLP Academics Heidelberg will face league's second-placed BG Goettingen on the road in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game.
