The guests trailed by 5 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 8-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 65-58. UFV made 17-of-22 free shots (77.3 percent) during the game. They also forced 19 Saskatchewan turnovers and outrebounded them 43-28 including a 20-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. Quite impressive performance for forward Kayli Santori (182) who helped to win the game recording 15 points and 8 rebounds. Forward Sarah Wierks (188) contributed with 6 points and 17 rebounds for the winners. Forward Dalyce Emmerson (191) answered with 14 points and 7 rebounds and guard Riley Humbert (168) added 12 points in the effort for Saskatchewan. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games.
