The guests trailed by 9 points after first quarter, but they rallied back and won the game by 6 points. Vikies dominated on the defensive end, holding Bisons to just 7 points in second quarter. They outrebounded Bisons 45-31 including 33 on the defensive glass. It was a very good performance for Terrell Evans who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 15 points and 12 rebounds. Center Chris McLaughlin (208) contributed with 15 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. American guard Stephan Walton (178-87, college: Valdosta St.) answered with 15 points and 6 rebounds and guard Kevin Oliver (201) added 12 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Bisons. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest.
