The hosts trailed by 2 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 5-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 81-68. Naturalized Kenyan guard Kenneth Otieno (188) orchestrated the victory by scoring 29 points and 8 rebounds. Youssef Ouahrig contributed with a double-double by scoring 17 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Forward Tommy Nixon (198) replied with 14 points and 7 rebounds and forward David Wagner (206-92) added 11 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Thunderbirds. Four Thunderbirds players scored in double figures. Thunderbirds' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
