Not a big story in a game when 15th ranked Union Rennes (4-17) was defeated at home by eighth ranked Blois (11-9) 65-51. The game was mostly controlled by Blois. Union Rennes was better in third quarter 15-8. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. American forward Daviin Davis (193-85, college: Weber St.) orchestrated the victory by scoring 22 points, 7 rebounds and 5 blocks. Center Jonathan Tornato (210-89) contributed with 13 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. American forward Alex Okafor (202-87, college: Princeton) answered with 12 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists and center Said Ben Driss (206-85) added 13 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for Union Rennes. Union Rennes' coach rotated ten players and allowed the starting five to rest. Blois maintains eighth place with 11-9 record. Union Rennes lost tenth consecutive game. Newly promoted Union Rennes keeps the fifteenth position with 17 games lost. Blois will have a break next round. Union Rennes will play on the road against Angers BC 49 (#12).
