Rather predictable result when fifth ranked Malbas (12-7) rolled over on the road 7th ranked Eskilstuna (9-10) 80-56 on Saturday. The game without a history. Malbas led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They also forced 25 Eskilstuna turnovers and had a 28-16 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a very good performance for guard Kristoffer Gafor (194-92) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 27 points and 13 rebounds. point guard Jacob Magnusson (184-94) contributed with 8 points and 9 assists for the winners. Coach Henrik Svensson's team controlled all game and the coach could let to play 11 players and allowed the starting five to rest. Spanish Julian Rodriguez Lopez answered with 10 points, 6 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals and Domingo Sanchez (-87) added 8 points in the effort for Eskilstuna. Malbas moved-up to third place in South, which they share with Jarfalla. Loser Eskilstuna keeps the seventh position with ten games lost. Malbas will face Sanda Basket (#12) in Huskvarna in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Eskilstuna will play at home against Boras II (#5) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
