EWE Baskets conquered Group L of the EuroChallenge. The German team won it with 5-1 record after 82:74 victory over Aalstar. The team from Belgium finished the group with 2-4 record. The hosts trailed by 2 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 1-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 82-74. EWE Baskets made 20-of-23 free shots (87.0 percent) during the game. Chris Kramer scored 9 points and 5 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and forward Konrad Wysocki chipped in 12 points during the contest. The best for the losing side was John Tofi with 15 points and 5 rebounds (perfect from the field making all six shots) and Derek Raivio scored 14 points and 5 assists. Five Okapi Aalstar players scored in double figures. In the Quarter-Final Play-Off Pairings EWE Baskets will take on Khimik. The games will take place on 12 and 14 March, with the third game scheduled for 19 March if it is needed.
