They also forced 22 Huskies turnovers and outrebounded them 50-37 including 18 on the offensive glass. Guard Anthony Ashe (193) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 13 rebounds. The former international forward Owen Klassen (208-91) contributed with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. Four Axemen players scored in double figures. Axemen's coach Stephen Baur used an eleven-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. Forward Riley Halpin (203) answered with 21 points and 8 rebounds and Nigerian guard Harry Ezenibe (190-87) added 10 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Huskies.
