Second Stage Round 3: BC Kolin - NH Ostrava 82-80

The most exciting game of round 3 in the NBL took place in Kolin. This derby game ended with only two-point defeat on the road of second-best NH Ostrava (18-9) to sixth ranked BC Kolin (15-11) 82-80 on Saturday evening. The hosts trailed by 7 points after three quarters before their 26-17 charge, which allowed them to win the game. BC Kolin made 20-of-24 free shots (83.3 percent) during the game. It was a great evening for forward David Machac (205-80) who led his team to a victory scoring 34 points (!!!) and 6 rebounds. Puerto Rican-American guard Emanuel Ubilla (188-86, college: Fair Dickinson, agency: Court Side) helped adding 21 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. The best for the losing side was American forward Austin Dufault (205-90, college: Colorado) with 23 points and 8 rebounds and the other American import point guard Rahsaan Ames (184-78, college: Shaw) scored 9 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. BC Kolin maintains sixth place in Group A1 with 15-11 record. NH Ostrava at the other side keeps the second position with nine games lost. BC Kolin are looking forward to face league's leader CEZ Nymburk on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. NH Ostrava will play against BK Pardubice and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
