Not a big story in a game when 10th ranked Dorsten (8-13) was defeated on the road by seventh ranked Herzoege Wolfenbuettel (10-11) 83-67 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Herzoege Wolfenbuettel. Dorsten was better in third quarter 20-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Herzoege Wolfenbuettel made 23-of-30 free shots (76.7 percent) during the game. Dorsten was plagued by 28 personal fouls down the stretch. Herzoege Wolfenbuettel will face higher ranked Herten Lions (#3) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Dorsten will play against BSV Wulfen (#8) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
